Dynamics Finance Specialist with Integration Expertise

This is a remote position.

We're seeking an experienced Dynamics Finance Specialist with deep expertise in the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dynamics Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert for the technical architecture, data models, and integration capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC) and Dynamics Finance & Operations (F&O).
  • Integration Strategy & Design: Lead the design and documentation of data flow architectures, technical specifications, and integration solutions between Dynamics platforms and external systems (e.g., CRM, e-commerce, warehousing, BI tools).
  • Dynamics Business Central (BC):
    • Deep understanding and practical experience with BC's table structures, data models, and built-in APIs (e.g., standard and custom web services).
  • Develop and customize data exchange interfaces within BC.
  • Dynamics Finance & Operations (F&O):
    • Hands-on experience with customization, data entities, integration points (e.g., Data Management Framework - DMF, OData), and the underlying architecture of F&O.
  • Manage and monitor F&O integration processes.
  • Integration Development: Design, build, test, and deploy integrations.
    • Preferred: Hands-on experience with Dell Boomi, for creating complex, scalable, and secure integration processes (e.g., using connectors, process shapes, mapping, and error handling).
  • Required: Strong foundation in general integration concepts and technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, XML/JSON, authentication methods) with the proven ability to quickly learn and master new iPaaS platforms like Boomi.
  • Troubleshooting & Performance: Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex integration issues, ensuring high performance, data accuracy, and system stability.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, development teams, and external vendors to translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience working with Microsoft Dynamics platforms.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in the technical components of Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
  • Proven experience in designing and building integrations for both BC (APIs, Web Services) and F&O (DMF, OData, custom services).
  • Strong understanding of SQL, relational databases, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desired Skills (Added Advantage)

  • Hands-on experience with Dell Boomi AtomSphere for designing, building, and managing integrations, including creating APIs and working with various connectors (NetSuite, Salesforce, etc.).
