Backend Developer Intern (Python & Django)

Location: On-site | Nagpur

Internship Duration: 4 Months

Stipend: 3k-7k

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Timings: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Backend Developer Intern with strong knowledge in Python and Django.

This role is ideal for individuals who want hands-on experience in backend development, API creation, and database handling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop backend logic using Python & Django
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs
  • Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
  • Work with databases (MySQL) for data storage and retrieval
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code
  • Troubleshoot issues and debug applications
  • Collaborate with frontend, QA, and design teams
  • Assist in optimizing application performance and security

Skills Required

  • Strong understanding of Python
  • Hands-on experience with Django framework
  • Knowledge of REST API development
  • Familiarity with databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
  • Basic understanding of Git or version control
  • Problem-solving skills and logical thinking

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

  • Knowledge of Django REST Framework (DRF)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
  • Understanding of MVC/MVT architecture
  • Experience with third-party API integrations

Eligibility

  • Any graduate or final-year student from CS/IT background
  • Freshers welcome
  • Basic project experience in Python/Django is preferred
