We're Hiring: Finance Manager (Controller)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager (Controller) to oversee our financial operations and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, compliance, and strategic planning to drive our company's financial success.

Location: Bengaluru, India

Work Mode: Work From Office

Role: Finance Manager (Controller)

What You'll Do:

Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS.

Ensure VAT and tax filings (P11d, PSA, CT) are completed and submitted on time, maintaining full compliance with legal and tax obligations.

Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals for accurate reporting.

Upload trial balances and financial results into the group reporting system (Tagetik) and support Group Finance with ad hoc information requests.

Assist with US entity filings in coordination with external accountants and take ownership of key processes such as payroll.

Maintain general ledger integrity and oversee all aspects of the balance sheet, statutory accounts, and audit coordination.

Develop and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures, driving efficiency and ensuring audit readiness.

Oversee cash flow forecasting, bank reconciliations, and payment processes, supporting treasury management and investment decisions.

Implement and monitor invoicing schedules to optimize cash flow and ensure timely billing post-enrolment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and transparency across business units.

Lead and mentor junior finance staff, providing guidance on technical accounting and professional development.

What Were Looking For:

Fully Qualified Accountant – CIMA / ACCA / ACA (or country equivalent).

8+ years of experience in financial accounting or audit, ideally within professional services or multi-entity organizations.

Strong technical expertise in UK GAAP and IFRS, with proven experience in month-end close, statutory reporting, and audits.

Commercially aware professional with the ability to provide strategic financial insights and add business value.

Advanced proficiency in Excel and hands-on experience with modern accounting systems such as Xero, NetSuite, and Sage Intacct.

Meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
