Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Site Supervisor to oversee the daily execution of ground-mounted solar power projects in and around Nagpur. The candidate will be responsible for supervising on-site activities, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion of installation and commissioning work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all day-to-day site activities for ground-mounted solar PV projects.
  • Conduct site readiness checks and coordinate material delivery, manpower, and equipment.
  • Ensure work execution aligns with design drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards.
  • Support installation, testing, and commissioning under the guidance of the Project Manager.
  • Maintain daily site logs, progress reports, and work completion records.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Monitor site productivity and resource utilization.
  • Report any technical or site-related issues promptly and assist in resolving them.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety and quality control procedures.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Hands-on experience in solar PV project execution (ground-mounted systems).
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and civil drawings.
  • Strong team supervision and coordination skills.
  • Good communication and reporting abilities.
  • Knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and daily reporting tools.

Educational Qualifications

  • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Certification in Solar PV Installation or Safety will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • 3–8 years of relevant on-site experience in solar project supervision.
  • Proven ability to manage contractors and site teams effectively.
  • Willingness to travel between multiple sites if required.
  • Strong sense of ownership, discipline, and accountability.
  • Immediate joiners from Nagpur or nearby regions preferred.
