Job Summary

We are looking for an IT Systems Engineer with strong experience in Linux environments, server administration, and Python scripting. The ideal candidate will support and enhance our IT infrastructure, automate routine tasks, and ensure the stability, performance, and security of our systems. This role involves hands-on system management, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (like Ubuntu).
  • Perform server monitoring, patching, updates, and security hardening.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and system resources.
  • Troubleshoot system, network, and application issues across on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Implement backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Work with virtualization platforms (like VMware) as needed.
  • Support application deployments and collaborate with development teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in IT systems administration or Linux system engineering.
  • Having some experience in SSH, CADDY, PuTTY. Window PowerShell, Terminal etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
  • Hands-on experience with server hardware, networking basics, and virtualization.
  • Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and integration tasks.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and diagnostic skills.
  • Good communication and documentation abilities

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with automation/configuration tools.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Understanding of security practices, log analysis, and system hardening.
  • Experience with REST APIs or Python-based automation frameworks.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field — or equivalent practical experience.

Pay: ₹15, ₹30,000.00 per month
