Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Performance Analysis

  • Analyse daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports across stores and product categories.
  • Monitor sales trends for gold, diamond, silver, platinum, and other jewellery segments.
  • Measure salesperson performance and incentive-linked KPIs.
  • Identify fast-moving and slow-moving product lines, seasonal trends, and customer buying behaviour.
  • Evaluate marketing campaign impact and ROI.

Inventory & Stock Management

  • Analyse stock ageing and recommend liquidation strategies.
  • Track reorder levels, procurement planning, and stock allocation across stores.
  • Monitor wastage, damage, and manufacturing cost data.
  • Maintain SKU-wise performance dashboards.

Customer Insights & CRM

  • Study customer purchase patterns, loyalty behaviour, and feedback.
  • Segment customers based on demographic and purchase value.
  • Support customer retention and loyalty programme decisions.

Pricing & Financial Analytics

  • Analyse pricing competitiveness, making-charges, and margins.
  • Support pricing strategy for ornaments, bullion, customised orders, and buy-back.
  • Track profitability at store, product, and salesperson level.

Reporting & Dashboards

  • Prepare MIS reports for top management.
  • Create BI dashboards using tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio).
  • Maintain daily business analytics summary for management review.

Key Skills Required

  • Strong analytical and numerical ability.
  • Advanced MS Excel, Power BI / Tableau / SQL skills.
  • Understanding of jewellery retail operations (sales, manufacturing, stock handling, wastage, purity evaluation).
  • Knowledge of ERP systems like Venus, Profit Plus, Marg ERP, Ginesys, etc. (added advantage)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
