Position : Business Operation
Place of Work : Dubai / Saudi Arabia
Qualification : B.E/B.Tech Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
Area of experience : Industrial Packaging.
Experience : Minimum of 5 years in the relevant industry.
Area of expertise : PP Woven Sacks FIBC etc., Candidate should have worked during setting up offices/ projects or operations related to the above
Job description : Candidate is expected to work on Greenfield as well as brown field projects.In the initial phase of the project he/she will be expected to understand PFDs, P&IDs, equipment layouts and building foundations, plant structures & sheds.He/she is expected to execute timely operations on the given project plans.As the project implementation will be guided by GANT / PERT charts he needs to have prior experience with these tools. The scope of work shall cover preparing equipment specifications, getting quotation from vendors, preparing comparative statements, interaction with vendors as and when required. Travelling to suppliers workshops as required for inspection and expediting work progress etc. will also form part of responsibilities. Assigning work to teams involved in local fabrication of equipment & piping and ensuring adherence to drawings provided by the engineering team/ consultants. Timely verification of running bills for work done by different teams and resolving issues at site is also part of the job.
Candidate will have to coordinate with the site teams involved in various aspects of the project and resolve day to day issues. His/her job will also require interacting with members of the basic and detail engineering team/ consultant for ensuring that the work at site progresses as per schedule and as per the required design provided in the form of drawings, SLDs ,layouts etc. Preparing MIS for timely reporting on project progress to the senior management is also required.
