Job Summary

The Corporate Actions & Income Associate (S3) provides operational support in the processing and execution of both mandatory and voluntary corporate actions and income-related activities. The role involves ensuring accurate custody and accounting processing, handling client inquiries, maintaining documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and monitor mandatory and voluntary corporate actions and dividend/interest processing across various financial products.
  • Process liability notices, class action suits, and ensure proper allocation of proceeds.
  • Reconcile client holdings against agent records to verify data accuracy and ensure timely corporate action processing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, event files, and recordkeeping in accordance with internal policies and audit standards.
  • Provide client support, resolving basic inquiries and escalating complex issues to senior professionals or supervisors when required.
  • Participate in client onboarding, system releases, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards for all assigned tasks.
  • May provide guidance and support to junior team members on operational activities and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree preferred (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field).

  • Experience:

  • Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience in financial services operations, preferably in corporate actions, custody, or income processing.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Familiarity with custody systems or corporate actions platforms preferred.

  • Certifications:

  • Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented mindset.
