Location: Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)
Reporting To: Finance Manager
Team: 5 direct reports (10 total accounts team members, including expats and locals)

About the Role

We seek an experienced Senior Accounts Manager to lead our finance team in Kinshasa. You will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and drive strategic decision-making in a multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a 10-member accounts team (expats and locals).

  • Prepare accurate financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet), MIS reports, and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

  • Respond to auditor inquiries and maintain stakeholder communication.

  • Contribute to strategic planning and process improvements.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: M.Com, MBA (Finance), or Inter CA qualification.

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years total, with 5+ years in a managerial role.

  • Languages: Fluency in Hindi and English (mandatory).

  • Technical Skills: Expertise in ERP systems, financial reporting, and MIS/data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Africa.

  • French language skills (advantageous).

  • Age: 30–40 years.

  • Background in FMCG/trading industries.
