A student recruitment and outreach includes developing and implementing recruitment strategies, engaging with prospective students through events and presentations, and building relationships with schools, colleges, and other stakeholders. The role also involves administrative tasks like managing communications, coordinating events, and reporting on activities to meet enrollment goals. Key duties are to promote the institution, provide accurate information about programs, and support the student enrollment cycle from inquiry to conversion.

Key responsibilities

  • Strategic planning and implementation:
     Develop and oversee strategic plans for student recruitment and retention, recommend admissions policies, and set enrollment goals.
  • Outreach and engagement:
     Deliver presentations and workshops to prospective students, parents, and advisors; attend college fairs and recruitment events; and conduct campus tours.
  • Relationship management:
     Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, community organizations, and other stakeholders to identify and engage with potential students.
  • Communication and marketing:
     Create and distribute marketing materials (digital and print), manage social media, and handle inquiries via phone and email to promote the institution and its programs.
  • Event coordination:
     Plan and execute a variety of events, including open days, visit days, and subject-specific events, coordinating logistics, staff, and resources.
  • Data and analysis:
     Track recruitment activities, collect feedback, analyze enrollment data, and report on the effectiveness of outreach efforts to inform future planning.
  • Management and support:
     Train and supervise student ambassadors or temporary staff involved in recruitment activities.

     Ability to build and maintain relationships with students, colleagues, and external partners.

     Strong ability to manage a workload, plan events, and maintain accurate records.
  • Digital literacy:
     Proficiency with digital platforms, social media, and potentially CRM systems to manage communication and track data.
  • Adaptability:
     Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and adapt to changing institutional goals and student needs
