Job Title: STP Operator

Location: Coimbatore

Department: Operations & Maintenance

Reporting To: Site In-charge / O&M Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) on a daily basis.
  • Check and record inlet and outlet water parameters.
  • Ensure proper functioning of pumps, blowers, and other equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the plant area.
  • Perform routine maintenance and backwashing of filters.
  • Record log sheets and report any breakdowns or abnormalities to the supervisor.
  • Handle chemical dosing as per instructions.
  • Follow all safety and environmental procedures.

Qualification:

  • ITI / Diploma / Any Technical Qualification (preferred in Mechanical, Electrical, or Environment).

Experience:

  • 0–3 years of experience in STP operation (Fresher can be considered for trainee role).

Skills Required:

  • Basic knowledge of STP process and equipment.
  • Ability to maintain daily operation records.
  • Safety awareness and teamwork.
