Job Title: Firmware Lead

Job Location: Pune

What you will own and do:

  • Specify, design, and implement firmware components of state-of-the-art electric
  • vehicle (BMS, Inverter, Charger,Motor Controller,Body Control Module ECU)
  • Work with a cross-functional team of electrical, mechanical, and test engineers to
  • develop our newest products.
  • Implement key protocol, signal processing and numerical algorithms with very
  • tight time, latency and energy budgets.
  • Evaluate and implement leading edge toolsfor build, formal verification and test.
  • Implement modules like communication stack, diagnostics, RTOS, bootloaders,
  • state flow in firmware
  • Testing of firmware software at unit, module and system levels
  • Team Management experience
  • Individual contributor as Software Developer and Tester
  • Guide team and train team members
  • Update status and report to stakeholders
  • Conduct review meeting and setup software quality process

What you will bring to us:

  • 6 to 10 years of experience in firmware development end to end of any project
  • Automotive firmware experience is a plus Classic and Adaptive AUTOSAR
  • Familiar with firmware concepts such as RTOS and bootloaders.
  • Experience with ARM based processors/ Micro-controllers
  • Expert with embedded C, compilers, build and source code control tools
  • Experience with standard communication protocols; I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN
  • Experience in working with safety criticalsystems, functional safety ISO26262
  • Experience with MISRA C coding guidelines
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks CANTATA,VectorCast and Google Test
  • Familiarity with TDD methodologies,RCA analysis,V Model and Waterfall Model
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git,SVN,Azure Devops and Dockers
