Job Summary:

Pet Retreat Manager is responsible for the day-to-day functioning of Pet Retreat, including operations, customer management and business development.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:

  • Minimum Degree in any discipline is required.
  • Any relevant experience in the Veterinary or Hospitality sector will be a plus point.

Experience:
At least two years of recent experience in general office work in a Coordinator/ Manager role. Prefer recent experience at a veterinary hospital.
Knowledge of:

Handling operations of the facility including:

  • Staff management.
  • Work scheduling and monitoring.
  • Facility management.

Customer management

  • Handling calls from the customers that may include facility booking, pet updates, emergency handling.
  • Preparing customized service packages for the customers and their pets.
  • Invoice collection.

Business Development

  • Informing customers of the features and facilities of the Pet Retreat.
  • Looking at how the services of Pet Retreat can be best utilized for the benefit of the pets.
  • Understand customer requirements and offer customized service packages to them.

Additional:

  • Knowledge on the patient management software
  • How a veterinary hospital is run (generally) and what types of procedures are performed there
  • Problem solving and cognitive thinking

Personal Requirements:

  • Genuinely enjoys working with people and animals.
  • Can work in a busy and noisy environment.
  • May be exposed to unpleasant odors, noises, and animal excrement.
