Azure Administrator

Position Summary

Advanced system administrator- Azure engineers with a solid foundation in azure fundamentals  are equipped to handle basic azure tasks, cloud monitoring, and initial troubleshooting. Handling staffing needs, supporting day-to-day azure operations, ensuring a smooth cloud experience. They are the skilled technician who can act as the first point of contact for their end-users to resolve or escalate issues related to Azure.

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 4+ years in an IT role or related domain
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Azure

Responsibilities

• Monitoring Azure resources, analyzing performance metrics, and generating basic reports.
• To identify and resolve common Azure issues, escalating more complex problems to higher tiers when necessary.
  
• Set up and manage Azure virtual machines, storage accounts, and basic network configurations.
• Work seamlessly with a team, supporting and contributing to projects under supervision.
• Support Azure-related projects, driving successful outcomes and collaborating effectively with your team.
• On-Prem to Cloud Exchange Migrations
  

Entra Authentication migration / Hybrid authentication projects

Azure cloud migration/ scoping and pricing

Azure cloud security

• Expertise to design and implement scalable and resilient Azure architectures according to the needs.
• Should be able to fine-tune Azure resources, implement automation, and optimize cloud costs for improved efficiency.
• Ensure robust security measures, implement access controls, and adhere to compliance standards to safeguard the data.
• Handle intricate Azure issues independently and provide innovative solutions to overcome challenges.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

• Must be AZ- 800 and AZ- 801 certified.
• Willingness to work in 24 x7 work shifts.
• Excellent communication and technical troubleshooting skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, including communication skills, active listening, and strong customer care instincts.
• Doing troubleshoots on advanced networking, security, and identity management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Must be a team player but should also understand the importance of individual contributions.
• Self-motivated and directed, able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Candidate should be open for transfer to another location or office if the job requires so or in the interest of the business requirements.
• The work location will be decided by the Organization depending upon the business requirement.
