This position is a hands-on Engineering Leader for new Network Surveillance Management technology that supports AT&Ts leading-edge networks and services, such as network virtualization and 5G, which require extensive surveillance and cross-domain correlation across multiple services. Evaluate and introduce strategic technology to enable Service Assurance architectural goals and transformation goals. This position requires technical leadership, innovation, and deep subject matter expertise in Network Service Assurance.

Will be responsible for leading software development, data modeling, testing, deployment, and support of Network Service Assurance applications. Required work includes collaborating with system engineers, participating in scrum, development and testing code to meet requirements, troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, and optimize processes for continuous improvement and fixing security vulnerabilities. This role involves people management for up to 20 team members.

Technical/Functional Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Software Development using Java, microservice and related technologies.
• Strong telecom domain knowledge specially on OSS and network service assurance.
• Experience with database technologies like Oracle, Postgres and Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, PL/SQL, ETL and data modeling is a plus.
• Experience in Unix/Linux and shell scripting.
• Experience with working with message/event buses like Kafka.
• Experience in containerization and deployment of services on Kubernetes.
• Experience in leading large scale application transformation and modernization.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams like developers, DBA, application support.
• Experience in all phases of Software Development Lifecycle including Requirements, Design and Architecture, Development, Testing and Quality Assurance, Deployment and Release Management, and Maintenance and Support.
• Working experience in public cloud, preferably Azure.
• Knowledge of Apache Iceberg and InfluxDB is a plus.
• Overall Experience: 10 years in relevant technologies.
• Flexible to work with overlapping hours with USA team.
