Position Summary

Level: Consultant

As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.

Work you'll do:

Apply industry knowledge to requirements gathering and analysis, ensuring alignment with sector needs. Demonstrate expertise across the entire software development lifecycle, from design and coding to deployment and defect resolution, collaborating with stakeholders for effective delivery. Conduct peer and team reviews to maintain quality standards. Actively engage in Agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and effort estimation. Build and share business process knowledge, supporting project knowledge management and team training. Proactively recommend process improvements, track efficiency gains, and contribute to automation and innovation, all aimed at enhancing project outcomes and delivering greater value to clients.

• Analyze requirements from Architects, SMEs, clients, and application teams.
• Perform monitoring, backup, patching, and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Oracle Database, Oracle E-Business Suite, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Monitor client infrastructure for performance and reliability.
• Identify, analyze, and automate routine tasks to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to fulfill requests or resolve incidents.
• Implement high availability solutions, update management, disaster recovery, backup, and restore processes.
• Prepare documentation, weekly/bi-weekly decks, and update knowledge base articles.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to junior resources.
• Participate in handover and on-call support during weekends on a rotational basis.

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database and Oracle E-Business Suite administration.
• Experience with Oracle EBS Release 12.1/12.2 maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Oracle EBS Administration experience on 12.2.x versions.
• Experience with shared application top and DMZ setup.
• Proficiency with Oracle Database 12c/19c.
• Experience with various cloning/restoration approaches (RMAN-Duplicate, hot backup restore, export/expdp tools).
• Strong experience in disaster recovery setup, rebuild, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with switchover and switchback (using Data Guard broker/manual methods).
• Scripting and automation experience.
• Experience managing EBS environments on OCI.
• Preferred: Performance tuning experience.
• Experience setting up Oracle Enterprise Manager for monitoring.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt and apply innovative technical solutions across business domains.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• Understanding of application and other infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Understanding of end-to-end infrastructure landscapes.

Education:

• B.E./B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
