engineering display models, prototypes, and scaled industrial plants

3D printing and fabrication technologies

We are looking for a
CAD Design Engineer
with a strong understanding of
model making and additive manufacturing
to join our design and development team in Pune.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create 3D CAD models of engineering and industrial equipment for display or functional prototypes.
  • Apply
    Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM)
    and
    Design for Assembly (DfA)
    principles.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
  • Prepare technical drawings, section views, and exploded assembly layouts.
  • Modify and optimize existing designs for manufacturability and print readiness.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure timely design delivery.

Requirements / Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of
    engineering or industrial model making
    .
  • Familiarity with
    3D printing technologies
    (FDM, SLA, LCD, etc.).
  • Practical understanding of
    design for additive manufacturing
    and
    design for assembly
    .
  • Proficiency in any 3D CAD software (
    Siemens Solid Edge preferred
    ; SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or NX acceptable).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and simplify complex systems into manufacturable models.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 1–3 years of experience in 3D modeling, prototyping, or industrial design preferred.
  • Experience working in a
    model-making or additive manufacturing setup
    is an added advantage.
