Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Tester with 3 years of hands-on experience in automation testing, API testing, and security testing. This is a part-time remote role requiring a commitment of 4–5 hours daily, ideal for professionals looking to contribute to a dynamic team on a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and backend systems.
  • Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
  • Conduct security testing to identify and report potential vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Analyze test results, debug issues, and track defects through to resolution.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration for test automation.
  • Document and maintain test cases, test plans, and other QA documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in QA automation testing.
  • Strong proficiency with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
  • Solid experience in API testing (REST, SOAP) using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or automated API frameworks.
  • Experience with security testing tools and practices (e.g., OWASP Top 10, Burp Suite, ZAP, etc.).
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in performance testing (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Work Schedule:

  • Part-time: 4–5 hours/day (Monday to Saturday )
  • Flexible hours, but some overlap with core working hours is preferred for collaboration.
