About the Role :

We are looking for a visionary and hands-on Chief Technical Architect who will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture, design, and technical roadmap of our SaaS product suite as well as enterprise solutions.

This individual will lead the modernization of our technology stack, ensuring scalability, performance, and resilience as we transition from a monolithic architecture to a microservices-based SaaS platform.

The Chief Technical Architect will also be responsible for embedding AI and intelligent automation into our development processes, improving efficiency, and setting the foundation for a high-performance engineering culture.

This is a strategic leadership role that requires deep technical expertise, architectural thinking, and the ability to guide, mentor, and influence large engineering teams.

The role will require close coordination with global teams across our three locations.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Technology & Architecture Leadership :

- Define and drive the enterprise-wide technical architecture strategy aligned with the companys business goals.

- Architect, design, and oversee the implementation of microservices-based SaaS platforms with modular, scalable, and secure components.

- Lead the migration of legacy monolithic applications into cloud-native SaaS solutions, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum business continuity.

- Own and refine technical standards, frameworks, and reusable patterns across the organization.

- Evaluate and integrate LLBLGen with . NET Core/.NET 6 backends, frontends, and PostgreSQL databases into scalable designs.

- Leverage industry trends, innovations, emerging technologies, and best practices in platform design (e., microservices, azure cloud-native serverless computing).

- Create data, applications, multi-tenant architectures, business intelligence strategies, blueprints, and architectural standards and guidelines.

- Provide critical insights for vendor and technology selection decisions by executive leadership.

- Strong awareness of cybersecurity principles, including identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities in applications, APIs, and infrastructure.

- Helping set up Unit test framework in enterprise as well as SAAS solution.

2. Innovation & AI-Driven Development :

- Champion the use of AI/ML and code generation tools to optimize development lifecycles, accelerate delivery, and enhance code quality.

- Design AI-enabled developer workflows including automated code refactoring, intelligent code review, and AI-driven unit testing.

- Continuously assess emerging tools and frameworks that can increase productivity and reduce technical debt.

3. Development & Delivery Excellence :

- Establish a robust governance model for software design, development, and release cycles.

- Define and enforce quality, performance, and security standards across all services and solutions.

- Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to build cloud-native CI/CD pipelines, containerization strategies (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring/alerting frameworks.

- Drive decisions on APIs, event-driven architecture, service mesh, and database scalability strategies.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Partner with Product Management to translate business vision into scalable technical designs.

- Work closely with Engineering Leads, QA, and DevOps to ensure delivery timelines are met with high quality.

- Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, simplifying complex architectural concepts into clear business impact.

5. Leadership & Mentorship :

- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers, tech leads, and architects across teams.

- Build a culture of innovation, learning, and accountability.

- Inspire the engineering organization to adopt modern engineering practices and continuous improvement.

Required Technical Skills & Experience :

- Proven Experience (12 years) in software development and architecture with at least 5 years in technical/architectural leadership.

- Hands-on expertise with :

1. .NET Framework / .NET Core / .NET 6

SPA & micro frontends)

3. PostgreSQL (scalability, performance optimization, clustering/replication)

4. Microservices, APIs, Event-driven design

5. LLBLGen or equivalent ORM tools

6. Cloud technologies (serverless compute, storage, networking, security)

- Knowledge on unit testing frameworks including E2E unit testing

- Good to have Cloud security best practices (encryption, IAM, network)

- Strong experience in Monitoring and logging

- Strong background in migrating large monoliths to SaaS architectures with measurable outcomes.

- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).

- Experience in setting up DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Terraform/ARM templates), and monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK).

- Deep knowledge of software design patterns, DDD (Domain-Driven Design), and scalable API-first architecture.

- Strong awareness of cybersecurity principles, compliance requirements, and data privacy regulations.

AI & Automation Skills (Preferred) :

- Experience leveraging AI-based code generation, code review, and testing platforms.

- Exposure to AI-assisted architecture design tools or workflow optimization frameworks.

- Hands-on experience of AI-driven observability/monitoring and predictive maintenance for software systems.

Leadership Competencies :

- Strong ability to set and communicate technical vision across business and engineering teams.

- Proven experience in building and scaling engineering teams with mentorship and upskilling.

- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, balancing trade-offs between cost, speed, scalability, and quality.

- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus in complex technical and business discussions.

- Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Prior experience working in fast-growing SaaS product organizations.

- Exposure to enterprise-grade solutions with large user bases and high-availability requirements.

- Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in technical communities.

- Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP), architecture frameworks (TOGAF, SAFe), or AI/ML.
