AAYM (American Academy for Yoga in Medicine) and MD Research are global leaders in education, training, and research in integrative medicine. As part of our upcoming US Conference Program, we are offering a remote internship opportunity for a motivated SEO Intern to support our digital presence, conference promotions, and online visibility strategies.

Role Overview

The SEO Intern will collaborate with the digital marketing and conference teams to improve search engine visibility, optimise website pages, and support organic marketing strategies for the US Conference Program. This role provides hands-on exposure to real-time SEO tasks in an international academic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct keyword research relevant to the US Conference Program, AAYM, and MD Research.
  • Optimise website content, landing pages, and conference-related pages for search engines.
  • Create and update meta titles, descriptions, header tags, and internal linking structures.
  • Monitor website traffic, rankings, and performance using SEO tools.
  • Perform competitor analysis and prepare comparison reports.
  • Assist in improving page loading speed, technical SEO elements, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with content writers and developers to ensure SEO-friendly content and website design.
  • Support off-page SEO activities such as backlinks, directory submissions, and outreach.
  • Prepare weekly SEO performance reports and improvement plans.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed studies in Digital Marketing, IT, Computer Science, Business, Media, or related fields.
  • Basic understanding of SEO concepts including keywords, ranking factors, on-page and off-page SEO.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Ubersuggest (basic level acceptable).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting with accountability.
