Responsibility

General responsibility

Goal setting

Secure ambitious goals for department are set, and the goal must reflect operation goal align all activities with goals achievement.

Leadership

Maintain a daily leadership of Process Engineering& scheduling department. Secure Novonesis touch and Novonesis leadership competencies are applied in this organization.

Product Stability and Optimization

Be overall responsible for securing stable and optimal production in the Fermentation, Recovery, Granulation, WWTP. Ensure run the production in the cost efficient way with balance between cost and capacity. The focus areas are as followed:

1)   Deliver products in right time and right quantity with right quantity.

2)   Technical support including equipment reliability, contamination in fermentation and hygiene process in recovery

3)   Daily troubleshooting related to equipment failure and abnormal batches

4)   Leading capacity liberation

Product Stability and Optimization, continued

5)   New product introduction

·      Drive site shift supported by product coordinator

·      Assist PPD project team/ProMAN to ensure a successful new strain and new molecule introduction

6)   Project portfolio prioritization and communication with PPM to ensure a smooth yearly TDP maintaining and implementation

7)   Drive or support minor addition project each discipline 

8)   Establish UM competence center, best utilize qualified UM and make sure CAPEX project fully implemented as URS

9)   Coordination of user manager competence development APAC operation

10) Production data analysis support to APAC operation

11) Energy and water coordinator APAC operation

12) Energy/water efficiency improvement and sufficient project pipeline building

13) Hygiene and GMP improvement plan and action for each discipline

14)  New technology area to ensure the development of plant

15) Play an active role in lean and ensure the competence to drive

16) Customer complaint handling to dig out root cause and make mitigation plan to avoid repeated cases.

Maintain a strong network and communication (including English level), participation, deliver products on time with right quality/quantity by cooperating with other supply chain departments and drive in international optimization work.

Organization Development

Secure development of engineers and optimal utilization of engineer resources in the different production plants and on the different products.

Process technology

Be responsible for technical matters related to the production processes.

Challenger

Be consultant and challenger to production engineers.

Be consultant and challenger to site technology representative in each of plants (Ferm, Rec, Gran, WWTP)

Report

Prepare production monthly and other reports to assure accurate reporting of process results and status

Food safety member

Will support or be part of FST team

Flow and Scheduling

·   Ensure the Operation flow is well focused.

·   Responsible for the capacity utilization data reporting

·   Responsible for the capacity utilization simulation

Analysis and improve the scheduling working flow continuously.

·   Primary interface between Global Planning and Operations

·   Ensure that the production schedule is effectively made to meet the demand planning

·   Ensure the REW inventory can be timely reworked through scheduling

·   Ensure Ferm& Rec. capacity can be fully utilized through effective scheduling.

·   Ensure scheduling production plan can support  maintenance stagey.
