Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune for an NPD (New Product Development) Lead. The NPD Lead will oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring delivery within timelines, quality standards, and cost parameters. Key responsibilities include leading the design and manufacturing of components, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing prototyping processes, and addressing engineering challenges. The role requires strong project management to effectively liaise with clients and suppliers for technical alignment and compliance with aerospace industry specifications.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in product design, CAD modeling, and interpretation of engineering drawings
  • Experience in manufacturing processes such as CNC machining,3/4/5 Axis machining
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as AS9100 and aerospace-specific quality assurance protocols
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for technical issue resolution
  • Project management experience, including planning, execution, and cross-functional coordination
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to manage teams and stakeholders
  • Experinace in CAM software MatsterCam
  • Experience in aerospace or defense component manufacturing is preferred
