We are looking for an experienced Internet of Things (IoT) Engineer to design, develop, and deploy connected systems and smart devices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in hardware integration, sensor data collection, cloud connectivity, and IoT application development. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build innovative IoT solutions that enhance automation, efficiency, and data intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop IoT system architectures, including sensors, gateways, and cloud platforms.
  • Integrate hardware components such as microcontrollers, embedded systems, and wireless communication modules.
  • Develop and maintain firmware/software for IoT devices.
  • Implement secure data transmission and device management protocols.
  • Configure and manage IoT connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LoRa, NB-IoT, MQTT, etc.).
  • Collect, process, and analyze real-time data from connected devices.
  • Integrate IoT systems with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud IoT).
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of IoT networks.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end IoT solutions.
  • Prepare documentation and technical reports for system design and deployment.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in embedded programming (C/C++, Python, or MicroPython).
  • Hands-on experience with microcontrollers (ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, STM32, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of IoT communication protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, TCP/IP).
  • Experience with IoT cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, ThingsBoard, etc.).
  • Familiarity with sensor integration, edge computing, and data acquisition systems.
  • Working knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, and API integrations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues in IoT systems.
  • Version control (Git) and CI/CD pipeline experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Experience in industrial IoT (IIoT), smart home, or connected device projects.
  • Knowledge of machine learning for IoT data analytics.
  • Experience with low-power design and battery management systems.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, MLOps, or Digital Twin concepts.
