This Position reports to:
Sales Director - DelhiYour role and responsibilities
You will be responsible for driving sales of B&R's next generation technology, machine connectivity, automation & edge, high end motion system & technology software solutions in the north region/market. The role demands a mix of sales acumen, technical understanding, and customer engagement.

This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation B&R Automation in New Delhi, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Manage business relationships with assigned top customers, act as the main contact to translate customer needs into the B&R portfolio and maintain strong connect at the C-level while acting as a trusted advisor for customer machines.
- Plan, develop, and achieve business targets by focusing on core portfolio and industry-specific value propositions, and create a result-oriented customer development plan.
- Responsible for order acquisition from assigned high-potential customers and indirect sales through partners, while identifying new business opportunities from emerging markets, segments, and application areas.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to develop effective sales strategies, collaborate with internal teams and HQ, and participate in exhibitions, seminars, and product demos.
- Utilize CRM tools effectively for planning and tracking customer interactions, build and manage opportunity pipelines, and demonstrate strong communication, resilience, growth mindset, and a sales-driven attitude as a brand ambassador for B&R technologies.
- Experience of 3 to 10 years in Sales role in the Automation industry (Drives, Motion, PLC, SCADA, Mechatronics), preferably in multinational companies. Hands on experience in application development will be added advantage along with outstanding Industrial Sales skills
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and address key issues with maximum integrity and professionalism
- Experience with technology sales – particularly repetitive sales of complex goods.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering. Professional Management Education will be added advantage
- Fluency in reading & writing in English, Hindi and regional language
This is a B2B sales role where you'll act as the face of B&R Automation for a defined region or segment. It requires a balance of technical knowledge, sales strategy, and customer relationship management.
