Senior Accountant

**Location:** Sakinaka / Andheri East, Mumbai (Full-time On-site)

**Experience Required:** 3–5 years (Mandatory experience in Custom House Agent / Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry)

**Joining:** Immediate (within 7–15 days)

**Salary:** ₹40,000 – ₹55,000+ per month (Higher salary assured for outstanding candidates with strong logistics background)

To support our continued growth and expanding operations, we are looking for an experienced **Senior Accountant** who has worked specifically in the CHA / Freight Forwarding sector and understands the unique financial and statutory requirements of this industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage complete books of accounts (multiple entities – Proprietorship, Partnership & Pvt. Ltd.)

• Finalization of accounts, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and schedules on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis

• Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, 9, 9C), TDS returns, Income Tax returns, and ROC compliance

• Handling customs duty, IGST refunds, drawback, MEIS/SEIS, advance license, and EPCG-related accounting

• Bank reconciliation, vendor/customer ledger reconciliation, ageing analysis, and follow-ups

• Accounts payable & receivable management including freight invoices, job-wise profitability tracking

• Preparation of MIS reports, cash flow statements, fund flow, budgeting, and KPI dashboards for management

• Coordination with banks for LC/BG, ECGC, and forex-related transactions

• Liaison with GST/IT officers and external statutory/internal auditors

• Maintain proper documentation for ICEGATE, DGFT, and customs audits

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, **exclusively gained in a CHA, Freight Forwarding, or International Logistics company**

• Graduate/Post-Graduate in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com preferred); candidates with only 12th pass but exceptional logistics experience will also be considered

• Expert knowledge of **Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9** (multi-company, GST-ready setup)

• In-depth practical knowledge of GST, TDS, advance tax, and customs-related taxation in the logistics sector

• Strong English communication (written & spoken) – ability to draft professional emails and letters independently

• Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, basic formulas)

• Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and manage multiple priorities

• Immediate joiners strongly preferred
