Job Description:

We are having an urgent opening for the position of Procurement Manager for a reputed company at the Navi Mumbai location.

Responsibilities:

  • Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
  • Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
  • Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
  • Vendor registrations process execution for all the vendor associated with the company
  • Vendor rating and categorization
  • Streamlining of the purchase process with purchase order, and other industry standards and requirement.
  • Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
  • Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
  • Examine and test existing contracts
  • Track key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  • Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
  • Expect unfavourable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
  • Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
  • Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs

Requirements:

  • Minimum graduation degree and relevant certifications
  • Hands-on experience on Tally, MS Excel and Google sheets, and others tools related to the procurement management
  • Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer or Head of Procurement
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as the ability to understand the market conditions
  • Talent in negotiations and networking
  • Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software
  • Aptitude in decision-making, coordination and problem handling
  • Experience in collecting and analysing data
  • A degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration will be preferred
