Data Engineer
on a
contract basis
for a hybrid role in
Pune
.

Role Overview

You'll build and maintain scalable data pipelines on AWS, working closely with engineering and analytics teams to enable reliable reporting, dashboards, and advanced analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize
    ETL pipelines
    and
    data workflows
    on AWS
  • Work with large
    structured & semi-structured datasets
  • Develop, maintain, and tune
    data warehouses
    and related models
  • Implement and schedule workflows using
    Airflow
    or equivalent tools
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver robust solutions

Must-Have Skills

  • Programming:
    Python, SQL
  • Big Data:
    PySpark / Apache Spark
  • ETL Tools:
    AWS Glue / NiFi
  • Data Pipelines & Warehousing
    experience
  • AWS:
    S3, Redshift, EMR, EC2, RDS
  • Orchestration / DevOps:
    Airflow, CI/CD (GitLab / GitHub)
  • Streaming:
    Kafka or equivalent streaming platforms
  • Strong experience with
    structured & semi-structured data
    (e.g. CSV, JSON, Parquet, Avro)

Nice to Have

  • Experience in performance tuning of Spark, Redshift, and complex SQL
  • Exposure to data governance, security, and best practices on cloud
