Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our Turnkey 5.0 team based in Tiruchirapalli. The ideal candidate will possess 4-5 years of proven experience in managing all aspects of site execution, project coordination, billing processes, and manpower handling. This role demands strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to ensure the successful and timely completion of projects while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Site Management:
  • Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure smooth workflow and efficient resource utilization.
  • Monitor progress against the project schedule and proactively identify and address potential delays or issues.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with standards.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, material inventory, and safety logs.
• Project Management:
  • Assist the Project Manager in the overall planning, execution, and closure of projects.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and track milestones.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (design, procurement, etc.) to ensure timely delivery of inputs and resources.
  • Identify and manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
• Billing:
  • Manage the project billing process, including the preparation and submission of invoices.
  • Verify contractor and vendor bills against work completed and contractual agreements.
  • Track project costs and ensure adherence to the budget.
  • Address billing-related queries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Manpower Handling:
  • Plan and allocate manpower resources effectively to meet project requirements.
  • Supervise and guide site teams, ensuring adherence to work instructions and safety protocols.
  • Monitor team performance and address any performance-related issues.
  • Coordinate with HR for recruitment, training, and other manpower-related activities.
• Communication and Coordination:
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Organize and participate in project meetings.
  • Prepare and distribute relevant project documentation.
• Quality and Safety:
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality control procedures and standards.
  • Implement and enforce site safety regulations and procedures.
  • Participate in safety audits and address any identified non-conformities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• Minimum of 4-5 years of progressive experience in site management and project execution, preferably in a turnkey project environment.
• Proven experience in managing billing processes and cost control.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively handle and supervise manpower resources.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.1
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Willingness to2 be based in Tiruchirapalli and travel to project sites as required.

CTC Range - INR 3.6 LPA - 4.2 LPA
