Role Description

Candidate will play a key role in implementation & management of the cloud-based Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration & adoption of MES into operations, driving efficiency, quality & compliance.

(A)   
MES application Configuration, Testing and Optimization:

·      Configure MES to align with production requirements, industry best practices, including configuration, testing, & maintenance.

·      Continuously optimize the MES to enhance manufacturing efficiency, quality, and traceability.

(B)   
SAP-MES integration:

·      Map out data flow between SAP ERP (typically PP, QM, MM modules) and MES.

·      Define integration use cases: order download, material consumption, production confirmation, quality results, etc.

·      Conduct integration testing (unit, system, UAT).

(C)   
Continuous improvement:

·      Oversee master data management and data governance for all manufacturing operations related to MES implementation.

·      Stay up to date with the new feature releases of MES and implement the best practices aligned with shop floor operations.

·      Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to address user issues and ensure system reliability.

(D)  
Documentation and training materials:

·       Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for MES processes and procedures.

·       Create training materials for new users and updates for existing users.

Typical Qualifications -

· to 7 years of hands-on experience in configuring MES modules as per the manufacturing process requirement.

·      Familiarity with MES platforms such as Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Rockwell PLEX, GE Proficy, or similar .

·      Strong understanding of discreet manufacturing process (stamping, blanking) and assembly process (welding processes).

·      Experience in managing and optimizing MES in a previous role as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

·      Knowledge of relevant software and technology, such as Manufacturing Execution Systems, and industry standards (e.g., ISA 95).

·      Experience in master data management.

·      Experience in production planning and scheduling.

·      Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

·      Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

·      Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

·      Experience in delivering digital solutions for supply chain processes.

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, Big Data, and Analytics
