Site Supervision & Execution

  • Oversee daily site activities to ensure work is carried out according to drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor labor, equipment, and material usage.
  • Ensure timely progress of work according to schedule.

2. Technical Support

  • Interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance to site supervisors, foremen, and workers.
  • Resolve any technical issues that arise on-site.

3. Quality Control & Assurance

  • Inspect ongoing work to ensure quality standards and codes are maintained.
  • Conduct tests on materials (concrete, soil, aggregates, etc.) when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with approved method statements and QA/QC procedures.

4. Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance

  • Enforce safety regulations and ensure workers follow safety protocols.
  • Identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and coordinate with HSE officers.

5. Planning & Coordination

  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
  • Plan day-to-day activities and allocate resources effectively.
  • Assist in scheduling and project planning (daily, weekly, and monthly).

6. Material & Resource Management

  • Prepare material requisitions and ensure timely delivery of resources.
  • Maintain an inventory of site materials.
  • Verify quality and quantity of delivered materials.

7. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain daily progress reports (DPR).
  • Record site activities, manpower, materials, and delays.
  • Prepare reports for engineers, consultants, and management.

8. Surveying & Measurements

  • Conduct or supervise site surveying (leveling, alignment, setting out).
  • Verify measurements for billing and quantity estimation.
  • Check subcontractor work quantities for payment certification.

9. Problem-Solving

  • Identify and resolve site issues quickly to avoid delays.
  • Communicate changes and coordinate modifications in design or execution.

10. Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure construction follows local regulations, approved drawings, and contract documents.
  • Assist during audits and inspections by consultants or authorities.
