HR Intern Roles & Responsibilities (NoBroker)

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Assist the HR team in the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers for shortlisting candidates.
  • Conduct initial rounds of telephonic or video interviews.
  • Maintain candidate databases and track hiring metrics using HR tools or Excel.
  • Support onboarding activities for new hires (document collection, ID creation, induction scheduling, etc.).

2. Employee Engagement

  • Help plan and execute employee engagement activities, team-building events, and contests.
  • Gather feedback from employees to improve engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate birthday/anniversary celebrations, festival events, and recognition programs.

3. HR Operations

  • Update and maintain employee records in the HRIS or spreadsheets.
  • Assist in preparing offer letters, internship letters, and experience certificates
  • Handle attendance, leave tracking, and update data for payroll processing.
  • Support compliance with HR policies and data privacy guidelines.

5. Performance Management (if applicable)

  • Assist in collecting and organizing performance data or appraisal forms.
  • Coordinate communication between HR and employees during appraisal cycles.

6. HR Research & Reporting

  • Research best HR practices and prepare reports or presentations.
  • Compile HR metrics such as attrition, recruitment turnaround time, and engagement participation.
  • Prepare and maintain Excel reports and dashboards.
