Job responsibilities
- General labor: Assisting with site preparation and clearance, cleaning, and maintaining a tidy work area.
- Material and tool handling: Loading, unloading, and checking supplies, storing materials, and preparing tools for the carpenter.
- Material preparation: Measuring, cutting, and preparing wood and other materials for installation.
- Construction support: Assisting with the assembly and installation of structures like walls, panels, and fixtures.
- Tool operation: Safely operating hand and power tools as directed by a skilled carpenter.
- Safety and maintenance: Adhering to safety regulations and assisting with the maintenance of tools and equipment.
