System Administrator – Job Description

Job Summary:

The Senior System Administrator will be responsible for managing our Azure cloud infrastructure, Office

365 environment, email server, end-user computing support, and providing efficient helpdesk services. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of cloud technologies, system administration, and enduser support best practices.

Key Responsibilities:


• Design, deploy, and manage Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage, networking,

and security components.


• Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and scalability of Azure-based systems.


• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for Azure resources.


• Stay updated with Azure services and recommend solutions to enhance the organization's cloud

infrastructure.


• Manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions within the Office 365 environment.


• Configure and maintain SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and other relevant

Office 365 applications.


• Ensure data security and compliance by implementing appropriate policies and settings.


• Serve as a point of contact for technical inquiries and support requests from employees.


• Implement security measures to safeguard cloud infrastructure, email systems, and end-user

devices.

Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.


• Proven experience as a Senior System Administrator, particularly in Azure cloud management,

Office 365 administration, and end user support.


• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, MCSA:

Office 365, or equivalent.


• Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts, virtualization, networking, and security

principles.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.


• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.


• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectivel
