Job Summary

We are seeking a DevSecOps Specialist to integrate security practices throughout the DevOps lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing security controls, automating security testing within CI/CD pipelines, ensuring compliance to security standards, and providing continuous monitoring of application and infrastructure security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate security practices into all phases of the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Automate security testing for code, applications, and infrastructure (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, etc.).
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and remediation planning for applications and cloud environments.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and industry security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with development and operations teams to promote secure coding and deployment practices.
  • Monitor and respond to security alerts, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain documentation related to architecture, configurations, and security incident responses.
  • Conduct security awareness sessions and guide teams on security best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps with security focus, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
  • Experience with automated security testing tools (e.g., SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, Snyk, Fortify, Checkmarx).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of security principles such as IAM, secret management, encryption, network security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, etc.).
  • Certifications such as AWS Security, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or DevSecOps certification are a plus.
