Job Description:

We have an opening for the post of Engineer – Estimation and Quantity Survey for a reputed Company for their Mumbai(Borivali) Head Office.

Job Description:

  • Thorough in the study of drawings. High proficiency in Excel. Very good working knowledge of AutoCad. Familiar with Software packages for Quantity Survey.
  • Calculates and provides reliable quantity and cost estimation for projects at budgetary stage. Comprehends entire Scope and Specifications and prepares a comprehensive list of all structures, infrastructure and services. Estimates quantities and costs based on preliminary drawings, historical data, site-specific requirements and instructions from seniors. Assists in the preparation of a Budget statement, stating all assumptions and considerations.
  • Prepares Area Statements, quantity survey, BOQs and Summaries on the basis of tender/working drawings and specifications. Prepares a detailed excel sheet for each structure item-wise and stage-wise. Prepares Material List based on Quantity Survey. Assists in rate analysis. Verifies material requisitions. Assists in verification of bills and variations.

Candidate profile:

Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized University / Institute, with a work experience in real estate high-rise construction in Mumbai for 4 years or more, with minimum two years in a similar capacity, for residential / commercial projects at multiple locations in western suburbs.
