About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Mechanical Engineer – Plumbing/Drainage with 8–9 years of construction experience in GCC and UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in plumbing and drainage systems, hands-on project experience, and the ability to manage complex mechanical works efficiently while ensuring compliance with local codes and project standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise plumbing and drainage design, installation, and commissioning activities on-site.
  • Review and approve plumbing/drainage drawings, specifications, and designs.
  • Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Ensure all mechanical works comply with project standards, local regulations, and safety codes.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project progress updates.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues on-site.
  • Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets for plumbing/drainage works.

Requirements

  • 8–9 years of mechanical construction experience in GCC and UAE (mandatory).
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing and drainage systems, standards, and installation practices.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or mechanical design software is a plus.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
