We Are Hiring: Senior DB2 Specialist – Automation, DevOps & Cloud (DB2 LUW / pureScale)

Location: Pune

Experience: 8–14 Years

Mode: Full-time

Are you a DB2 expert passionate about automation, DevOps, and cloud transformation?

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior DB2 Developer/Engineer to lead automation initiatives, optimize DB2 environments, and drive innovation across hybrid infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

Design & develop automation solutions for DB2 LUW & pureScale using Ansible, Python, Shell, YAML

Lead DB2 infrastructure automation across on-prem & cloud environments

Modernize & optimize DB2 workflows for performance and cost efficiency

Implement CI/CD pipelines for DB2 deployments

Troubleshoot complex DB2 performance, HADR, replication, pureScale & connectivity issues

Collaborate with Infra, DevOps, and Cloud teams

Ensure robust monitoring, alerting, and reporting

Mentor junior engineers, review scripts, and enforce quality standards

Maintain detailed documentation

Participate in agile ceremonies

Required Skills

8+ years of hands-on experience with DB2 LUW (v10.5+)

Strong expertise in DB2 pureScale

Solid experience with Ansible & automation frameworks

Strong scripting: Shell, Python, Bash, YAML

Experience with CI/CD pipelines & DevOps tools

Strong DB internals knowledge, backup/recovery, HADR, performance tuning

Exposure to AWS / Azure / GCP

Excellent troubleshooting & analytical skills

Strong communication & documentation abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience integrating DB2 with cloud-native services

Knowledge of Kubernetes / OpenShift / containers

Exposure to monitoring tools: Grafana, Prometheus

IBM DB2 Certifications (added advantage)

Automation-first mindset
