 Job Discerption

Project ManagementEvaluate project alternatives, carry out options study and freeze schemes related to all mining infrastructure services like power supply, transmission lines, sub-stations, mine pumping, mine lighting, CHPP, mine automation, railway siding and dispatch arrangement, roads, culverts, drainage systems, service & housing buildings, workshops, stores etc. The scheme shall be worked out in tandem with mine planning and design team in an integrated manner to meet the process and business objectives Development of Coal handling and preparation plant flow sheets, allied sampling & testing and washability studies in conjunction with the resource exploration team shall be part of the core function of the team Project manpower and other resource planning along with mine planning team. Assisting the corporate team in obtaining Regulatory approvals for the projects.Planning and BudgetingPrepare project execution matrices, resource planning and deployment. Review and engagement of appropriate project resource requirement based on time schedulesMaintaining all safety norms –Zero fatality targeta) Ensure full use of PPE s and create awareness about unsafe act and unsafe conditions
 b) Responsible for overall site safety and implementation of SOPs.Compliances & OperationsSOPs and reporting formats for projects & O&M shall be prepared by design team in consultation with the engineering team at corporate. co-ordinate with site project team for project schedule monitoring, expenditure vs execution monitoring, cost control, catch up scheduling, if any, deployment of resources etc. Bringing operational efficiency, bench-marking the various process parameters for achieving operational excellence, optimizing process cost parameters to maximize profits. Standardizing of the process to the extent possible, P&M items along with spares for bring about cost reduction, monitoring of aging of spares
