Consulting Member of Technical Staff

As a Consulting Member of Technical Staff, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, designing, implementing, and optimizing Oracle Health applications. We will facilitate this by advancing the state of the art in healthcare and population level health, make it practical, effective, and real at practitioner level by connecting everything together. This will allow a patient to get point of care from anyone, anywhere or any device by providing the practitioner medical information leveraging global data.

• Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in front-end/UI development, with a strong focus on large-scale, enterprise-level applications.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Java, C# or similar object-oriented languages for building robust backend systems.
  • Hands-on full stack development experience with cloud-native development on major cloud platfroms (OCI, Azure, GCP, AWS) is essential.
  • Expertise in frontend Javascript development. React or Preact is a plus.
  • Expertise in Java service development. Micronaut service development framework experience is a plus.
  • Strong design skills for building secure, highly scalable, and extensive systems.
  • String software engineering fundamentals, including expertise in data structures, algorithms, RESTful services, and microservices architecture.
• Tooling: Hands-on experience with development tools such as Webpack, Babel, ESLint, Prettier, and version control systems like Git.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and collaborate in cross-functional teams, mentor others, and drive technical decisions.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and solving complex technical challenges.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience with micro-frontend architecture.
• Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in developer communities.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices for UI deployment and monitoring. 
• Strong communication skills, including cross-team collaboration
• Ability to deliver basic functionality and iterate
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams
• Knowledge of healthcare and experience delivering healthcare applications are significant plus.

• Development and Architectural Leadership: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance system and services build on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Technical Expertise: Act as the go-to expert for architecture, design patterns, and best practices, ensuring the delivery of robust, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with UX designers, product managers, backend developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive user interfaces.
• Code Quality and Standards: Establish and enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to industry best practices.
• Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Innovation: Stay current with emerging UI/UX trends and technologies, and lead initiatives to integrate them into the development process.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize UI components for maximum performance across a range of devices and browsers.
• Tooling and Automation: Define and implement development tools, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks to improve development efficiency and reliability.
