Overview: The role of Specialty Development Senior (Team Center) is crucial to the organization's success in the development and maintenance of specialized solutions within the Team Center platform. This individual will play a key role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, ultimately contributing to the seamless execution of engineering processes and the optimization of product lifecycle activities.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of custom solutions within the Team Center environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of complex issues within the PLM systems.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of the PLM systems and related software development processes.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide expertise in utilizing Agile methodology for software development.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements in the development of PLM solutions.
  • Deliver technical documentation, training, and support to end users and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to integrate third-party applications with Team Center.
  • Participate in the evaluation, selection, and deployment of new technologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Contribute to the development of standards and best practices for PLM system development and maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of X years of experience in software development, with a focus on Team Center or similar PLM systems.
  • Proficiency in Team Center Unified or Active Workspace development and customization.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile software development practices and principles.
  • Experience with customization and integration of PLM systems within an engineering environment.
  • Expertise in Java, C++, or other relevant programming languages for PLM development.
  • Proven ability to design and develop custom workflows, UIs, and reports within Team Center.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a complex PLM environment.
  • Understanding of product data management, data migration, and configuration management concepts.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Relevant certifications in Team Center and/or PLM systems would be advantageous.
  • Experience in working within regulated industries such as aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detail in PLM system development and maintenance.
