Position: Electrician

Department: Maintenance / Engineering

Location: Salasar Techno Engineering Ltd

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Facility Manager

Job Purpose:

The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures to ensure safe and efficient operations within the facility. The role requires technical expertise, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Inspect electrical systems, components, and equipment to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs.
  • Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding for electrical breakdowns on machines and facility equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and circuit drawings.
  • Operate and maintain tools, test instruments, and equipment related to electrical work.
  • Plan electrical layout and wiring systems for new projects or modifications.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on electrical panels, motors, and machines.
  • Maintain proper records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
  • Support other departments in resolving electrical-related issues as needed.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and control panels.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repair.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and electrical codes.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and time-management skills.

Qualification & Experience:

  • ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience as an Electrician in industrial / commercial setup.
  • Valid electrician license or certification (if applicable).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift and handle electrical tools and equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
