Role Overview:

The Service Captain oversees the entire service floor, ensuring smooth operations, excellent guest experience, and coordination between the FOH team and kitchen. They act as the floor-in-charge when the Manager is not present.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the full service area during all shifts.
  • Lead Service Associates and Trainees; assign tasks and ensure SOP compliance.
  • Step in for the Restaurant/Floor Manager during absence, handling escalations and shift decisions.
  • Coordinate closely with the kitchen and pass to ensure timely, accurate order flow.
  • Maintain service quality, table readiness, cleanliness, and stock of service supplies.
  • Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests professionally.
  • Support POS operations, billing, and cash handling when required.
  • Train new staff and support performance improvement of the team.
  • Drive upselling of combos, beverages, add-ons, and loyalty program awareness.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in restaurant service; leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, team management, and guest-handling skills.
  • Good understanding of POS systems and service SOPs.
  • Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment.

Work Conditions

  • Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Active, fast-paced work environment requiring standing/walking.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15, ₹18,000.00 per month
