1. Must lead the tool room team like Sr. Tool Maker, Designer, Programmer and Operators.

2. Must know how to plan regular planned / breakdown maintenance and for new mould delivery on a weekly, monthly basis.

3. Must be able to work without supervision.

4. Very important to have ability to identify problems, give solutions to overcome and ensure part meets specification.

5. Must demonstrate good team building skills.

6. Good in English. Must have good writing skills.

7. Having a range of IT skills and Design Software skills.

8. Must give continuous improvement suggestions on a monthly basis. he must also motivate other members on team to come up with suggestions for improvement.

KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES


  2. Prepare quote for new RFQ with concept design.
  3. Mould maintenance to be completed on time and first time correct
  4. Review & optimize mould design, prepare DFM and discuss with Customer
  5. New Mould To be completed on time, within budget, and handed over to production with all relevant documentation
  6. Mould history cards to be maintained up-to-date
  7. Planning Daily, weekly, and monthly plans to be prepared for preventive / breakdown and new moulds

Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Essential):

Minimum 10 years of experience in design and manufacture in tool moulds of which last 5 years in a leadership position managing a team of 4. Must have experience manufacturing moulds with hot runner system, critical dimension moulds, collapsible core, exposure to mould finishing activities such as laser etching, chemical etching etc.,

Qualifications Desirable:

Graduate Diploma in technical field.
