About the Role:

We are seeking an SAP FPSL Consultant with hands-on experience in SAP Financial Product Subledger implementations. The candidate will play a key role in designing, configuring, and deploying SAP FPSL solutions for financial services organizations to meet business, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, implement, and support SAP FPSL modules as per business requirements.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into SAP FPSL solutions.
  • Ensure correct setup of subledger accounting, covering processes like accruals, fair values, FX revaluation, and regulatory reporting.
  • Work on integration between SAP FPSL, SAP S/4HANA, and other SAP/non-SAP modules as needed.
  • Participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, and support go-live & hypercare phases.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support and system enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 9, IFRS 17, GAAP) and regulatory frameworks.
  • Prepare technical and functional documentation as well as end-user training material.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in SAP FPSL configuration and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP FPSL architecture, subledger accounting concepts, and integration with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Good understanding of database concepts and SQL (SAP HANA preferred).
  • Familiar with accounting principles and financial product subledger mechanisms.
  • Hands-on experience with SDLC methodologies and Agile practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, IT, Engineering, or related field.

Nice to Have:

  • SAP FPSL/SAP FSDM/Insurance Analyzer certification.
  • Experience in banking, financial services, or insurance implementation projects.
