Senior Staff Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Staff Engineer to lead mission -critical domain engineering across multiple trading and investment platforms, including CFD Trading Backend, Gold Trading Platform, Wealth Platform, and Payments/Middleware integrations. This role is central to building high -performance, low -latency, and scalable backend systems that power real -time trading and financial services across our ecosystem. Job Responsibilties: Backend Ownership: Architect and lead backend systems for CFD trading, including pricing services, risk routing, and order execution pipelines.Gold Trading Platform: Drive backend modernization and integration initiatives using Odoo and custom microservices.Wealth Platform Architecture: Oversee and scale brokerage, ETF, and portfolio management services.Middleware Development: Design robust, high -availability middleware that connects multiple business domains to Stratos OMS/EMS, PrimeXM, MT5, and external liquidity providers.Architecture Governance: Establish and enforce standards for domain -driven design (DDD) and service boundaries across business units.Performance & Scalability: Deliver horizontally scalable, resilient backend systems that meet sub -200ms latency SLAs.Technical Leadership: Mentor engineering teams, contribute to design reviews, and promote best practices in distributed systems and performance optimization. Requirements What We're Looking For6+ years of experience in backend engineering with at least 3 years in a staff or principal role.Proven experience in designing and scaling financial or trading systems.Deep understanding of domain -driven design, distributed systems, and real -time data processing.Strong command over latency optimization, fault tolerance, and horizontal scaling.Excellent collaboration skills with a track record of working across multiple product and infrastructure teams.
