Responsibilities :

  • To develop and maintain Baseline Schedules(Contractual) in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Responsible for updating Project Schedule and to prepare recovery plan when needed
  • To review schedules, undertake analysis of baseline schedule and schedule updates, monitoring of schedule delays.
  • To support in producing extension of time and prolongation claims to support our submissions to clients.
  • Preparing Monthly Schedule updates/reports and contributing in preparation of monthly reports
  • To prepare executive summary reports for higher management
  • To provide support in the areas of Cost controls, scheduling, scheduling analysis, earned value management, claim analysis and design activities in support of the program
  • Accountable for identifying the major milestones to be attained through the Program/Projects completion
  • To deliver presentations on all the above to Clients and internal managers
  • Allows us to communicate with and manage our Clients expectations
  • Any planning related claims and disputes are being managed efficiently
  • Making and maintaining appropriate commitments to project teams and coordinating design activities with multi-disciplined project team members.
  • This will be a client facing role and the incumbent must be having strong experience in project management, planning, monitoring and reporting of large size utility projects.
  • Contribute to the proposal and bidding work as and when required.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.
  • Engage in training sessions and meetings dedicated to addressing targeted organizational initiatives.
  • Ability to lead the projects and deal the client with hands on experience in project management processes/activities.

Qualifications

  • Possess a Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Have a minimum of twelve years and a maximum of fifteen years of planning experience in the field  of Building and Infrastructure projects.
  • PMP Certification will be an added advantage.
  • Preferably familiar with ME projects would be an added advantage.
  • Strong skill required on Primavera P6, MS Projects will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
