Key Responsibilities: Design and Development:
  • Develop and refine designs for automated systems, incorporating features like PLCs, VFDs, and other automation technologies.
Cost Analysis and Optimization:
  • Estimate project costs, identify cost-saving measures, and ensure designs are economically viable.
Prototype and Testing:
  • Build and test prototypes to validate designs and identify areas for improvement.
Technical Documentation:
  • Create detailed technical drawings, reports, and documentation for the designed systems.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work with project managers, customers, and other engineering teams to ensure designs meet requirements and objectives.
Compliance:
  • Ensure designs adhere to relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Engineering Degree: A Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering field.
  • Design Software Proficiency: Must have knowledge of panel costing and building/wiring and drawing GA (DRIVE PANEL, MCC PANEL, PCC PANEL, PLC CONTROL PANEL, POWER PANEL).
  • Cost Estimation and Analysis: Strong understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with automation components (PLCs, VFDs, sensors, etc.) and industrial automation systems.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to identify problems, analyze data, and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
