Job Description

Oversees IT systems and infrastructure, implements cybersecurity measures, coordinates technology upgrades, leads support teams, and ensures smooth operations for business continuity

An IT Manager is responsible for overseeing an organization's entire technology ecosystem, ensuring that IT systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with business objectives. Core duties include:

  • Managing IT staff and coordinating support for hardware, software, and network infrastructure.

  • Overseeing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades for all technology systems.

  • Leading and executing IT projects, including system migrations, office deployments, and technology upgrades.

  • Developing and enforcing IT policies, cybersecurity protocols, and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Monitoring IT performance, resolving issues, and ensuring business continuity.

  • Managing vendor relationships, procurement of hardware/software, and IT asset inventory.

  • Collaborating with other departments to assess technology needs and implement solutions.

  • Training staff on IT processes and technologies.

  • Planning and administering the IT budget, reviewing annual contracts, and presenting cost-saving proposals.

Key qualifications include deep knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, strong leadership and communication skills, project management abilities, understanding of data protection and network security, and experience with IT management tools.
