Fundoo Tutor is an online tutoring platform specialising in Cambridge, IB and international curricula. We work with students across India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe, the UK and beyond, focusing on concept clarity, exam-oriented preparation and consistent progress tracking.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics tutor for Grade 9 and 10 (Core / Extended, e.g. 0580 / The tutor should be comfortable with the Cambridge IGCSE syllabus, past paper patterns and marking schemes, and able to build strong concepts and exam confidence for students aged 14–16.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics (Grade 9 & 10) in one-to-one and small-group online classes.
  • Cover the full IGCSE syllabus (number, algebra, geometry, mensuration, trigonometry, statistics, probability, graphs, etc.).
  • Use past papers and marking schemes to train students in exam-style answering and time management.
  • Break down difficult topics into simple, logical steps and connect them with real-life applications.
  • Assign homework, review students' work and provide targeted feedback.
  • Share short, clear progress updates for parents when required.
  • Maintain punctuality, professionalism and a student-friendly attitude in every session.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 4–5 years of verified Cambridge IGCSE / Cambridge pathway teaching experience in Mathematics
  • (in a school and/or as an online tutor).

  • Strong familiarity with Cambridge IGCSE Maths syllabus & exam style (Core and/or Extended).

  • Confident using online tools (Zoom/Google Meet, online whiteboard, pen tablet, PDFs, etc.).

  • Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to explain concepts clearly to international students.

  • Consistent availability during after-school / evening hours (student time zones) and optionally weekends.Preferred (Good to Have)

  • Experience teaching students from multiple regions (India, UAE, Singapore, UK, Europe, etc.).

  • Experience guiding students through full exam prep using topical & full past papers.
  • Ability to create your own practice worksheets, revision summaries and error-correction strategies.

Work Schedule & Compensation

  • Mode: Online (remote)
  • Type: Part-time / Freelance, long-term
  • Hours: Flexible, based on student demand and mutual agreement
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience and demo performance (to be discussed during the interview)
