Role & responsibilities
We need a person who can make clear and accurate drawings on the computer for engineering and construction projects. You will work with engineers, architects, and the project team to turn ideas into proper technical drawings using AutoCAD and similar software.
Making Drawings Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for civil, electrical, or building projects. Update drawings if there are changes from the client or the design team. Make sure all drawings are correct, easy to understand, and follow rules and standards.
Working with the Team Discuss with engineers and other team members to understand what needs to be drawn. Check sketches and measurements before starting the drawing. Help solve problems if something in the design doesnt fit or match.
Following Standards Use the companys set format, templates, and guidelines for making drawings. Follow all required codes and standards for the project. Double-check your work to avoid mistakes.
Managing Files and Records Keep all drawings and changes saved properly for future use. Arrange and store files so they are easy to find. Prepare drawing sheets and packages for submission.
Using Tools & Software AutoCAD (2D & 3D) Civil 3D / Revit / SolidWorks (depending on the project) MS Office for making reports and documents Operate printers, plotters, and scanners for printing and sharing drawings
